Got a wonderful call yesterday to the library, in the midst of stamping books and telling people to shh.
An elderly lady was at home doing the Business Post crossword and she was stuck on one clue which was driving her crazy so she decided to ring the library. She had the first letter and the last letter of a four letter word R- - A, the clue was English Playschool. She finished up the call a very happy customer with her crossword complete and a positive library story to tell her friends. As a crossword lover myself I was only too delighted to help!
Great story! I didn't have a clue what the answer was so kudos to you for helping the lady out. I'm almost ashamed to say I had to use google to find out the answer :)

DeleteThanks for leaving a message/comment! That was just a freaky bit of luck getting the crossword clue...I'm useless at University Challenge! I had a look at your blog and it is wonderful, so clear and professional looking and I love the images you have used. My good intentions to keep up with Rudai23 has been disastrous to say the least..holidays took over and suddenly its Rudai 5! I will have to get back to the drawing board :)
